1923 UNCIRCULATED CANADIAN $1 BILL

WHAT IS A 1923 UNCIRCULATED CANADIAN $1 BILL WORTH?

According to the 20th edition of the Charlton Catalogue, the most common variety (Campbell-Clark, Black Seal) is worth $575 in Unc or $250 in AU.  Rarer varieties are worth more ($1000-$2000+).

Might be able to get a better idea of value if you have a scan or can give serial numbers & signatures.

Thank you for the info.  The serial number is C5706112 and the date on the bill is July 2, 1923 and it is a green seal.  It looks like the signature is J.C. Saunders.  Thanks again.

Unc Book Price is $1350 if your's is an exceptional example, i.e. Perfect centering Sharp corners etc. the value could be 20 to 35% more than the Unc price.

It is difficult to see all the possible flaws in this note on a small scan, but based on what is visible, this
note would grade AU (About Uncirculated) at best but more likely EF (Extra Fine).
