Title: Canada Bank Note Company Test Notes

A great test note last sold at Long Beach Expo for about $900.
Notice the nice $1000 Dominion of Canada sample note in the center of the "Salesman Sheet".  A two for one!
Heritage auctions adds "This 1880s and 1890s company with William C. Smillie as Vice President tried to secure work from the Dominion of Canada, but failed."

I have attributed this test note as CBN-104 in the Catalog of Printers' Test Notes.

Wow, great test note. Here is an example of another test note, that uses one vignette that resembles significantly to one of those shown on your test note.  This one made (copied?) by a Mexican engraver. The same person that hired BABNC to engrave the notes of the Mexican Monetary Commission that I showed in another post. It is undated, but I guess is around 1935.
