A friend showed me this note, he thought it might be an error. I told him I would ask for him. So is it an error? Any idea of value and grade (ballpark at least).

My guess was F and a value of around $40.

Thanks in advance.

I think it's an error. Numbers are placed high, and are a bit crooked. Signatures also look a bit high. Valuation is probably accurate because it's not a major error, and condition of note...

These types of notes including slightly off centered printings were not that unusual within the multi-colored series. So $40, yes its probably around there maybe just a little less because of the condition.
