Title: BoC Prefix Progression During Changeovers
Post by: papa.charlie on April 20, 2014, 01:32:50 pm
Trying to make some sense of changeover notes and I guess prefix progression in general. I’m hoping someone here can help explain it.

Let’s take the $5 Journey and the $5 Frontier notes as an example…

The last notes in the $5 Journey series end up somewhere around prefix HAL. Then, the next note we see in this denomination is a Frontier HBG prefix. My question is: what about all the prefixes in between HAL and HBG, i.e. what about HAP, HAZ,  or even HBA , etc.? Were some skipped? Were some printed and then destroyed? Were some printed and not yet released?
