1935 King George $25

I just recently was passed down a bill collection from a family member.  Doing some research on the web regarding all the bills and found that this one may be pretty rare.  It has 3 distinct vertical folds and a few minor creases.  A000004
 Just wondering what the value may be.  Thanks.

 
Also have the 1,2,5,20 of the same year and the 1 looks almost brand new.

Without seeing a scan, sounds like a VF, which has a catalogue value of $5,300 Cdn. However, the low number adds significant value, perhaps making the note worth closer to $9,000 to $10,000. Can you post a scan? Are you looking to sell this note and/or the others.....You may be in possession of $20,000 worth of notes if all the numbers are this low...

Until you work out what you are going to do with the notes, get them into a safe deposit box.

Thx Alvin...not in any rush to sell anything..just doing some research with what was handed down..took everything to work today..so I could scan a few..and lucked out..classic car collector mostly, but also big coin and some bill collector..knew exactly in about 10 seconds what I got in about 2 hours searching around about all the bills ...so have gotten some good advice from him..bugger coulda saved me a few hours on the net..lol..

So, what do people think about the grade? I was thinking a F, maybe a low VF.

I would call it a Fine at best. There seams to be a few margin splits and the overall note looks quite dirty.

Yes, now seeing the scan, the note is more likely a fine, which is valued at $4,300 in the current Charlton catalogue. However, the low number would still yield a higher value, perhaps in the area of $6,000, perhaps more in the correct auction circumstance....
