A $10-150 note grade by BCS has a date of 1917 instead of 2017 in the description - Rare Grading Error.
Can't wrap my head around whether to buy this or not.

That is too funny. Mistakes happen, but 1917?! Sold for a pretty penny. Someone bought the holder, not the note. Interesting discussion piece.

This is hilarious. I actually pointed this out to the seller when I first saw it during its original listing and he thanked me for letting him know since he did not see it.
I said BCS would be more than happy to re slab the note with the correct date and his reply was
"thanks man this even makes this note more rare because since BCS is such a reputable and conservative grader this error makes this a really rare error so he re listed the note thinking he would get more for it....guess I was wrong ...he actually did LOL
