Quite an interesting event happened on eBay tonight where this banknote, previously only know in institutional collection was offered to the public. It realized a substantial price given a quick 7 day auction with no advertising.

Nice, do you know who bought it? Glad to see it didn't go completely under the radar. Although I'm quite sure it would have fetched 35k+ in proper auction given the uniqueness of the design and the importance of this bank.

For the record, sale price was 16,401 USD.

No clue who purchased it but the buyer was linked to a brand new account with 0 feedback until this week.
Tried to inquire a bit on the history of where this one was hiding but the seller had no info on it.
