Title: Two five dollar bills with same serial number

Hello. I'm hoping someone can give me an idea of how much these are worth. As far as I can tell they are from 1954 and are uncirculated.

The pair catalogue for CAD $2,500 in Uncirculated condition (Charlton 29th Edition 2017 page 417).

Catalogue number is BC-39b-E19

It appears from the images posted that one of the notes has a pen mark on the front of the note which could affect the value slightly.

Thank you. My father passed away not to long ago and these were in his safe deposit box. He used to tell me about these bills but I never saw them till now. I appreciate the info.
