Can you guys take a quick look at this. This is a $5 specimen note number 254 I picked up at an auction this weekend. Its punch cancelled, but not all the punch holes made it through???? Its missing several Holes....
Would you consider this an error note? All the missing holes are on the right side of the note. The I is missing one hole, The M is missing 4 holes. One of the holes on the E is punched but didnt go through on one hole, The N is missing 4 holes….
Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

I have something similar with several notes in my 1937 specimen set, but I don't think it would command much of a premium (if any).

Back to the 1972 $5 specimen, I also have one where the punch-out of "Specimen" on the left does not align with the one on the right. This might command some premium, but even a 10% premium over a "normal" note would only be about $15 extra. :(
