Title: Grand Duchy of New Brunswik $1000 Note
Post by: Wizard1 on May 02, 2011, 08:15:38 pm
Hi all, I picked the following up recently but asides from the following obscure reference from 2009 (http://archives.binhost.com/pipermail/mpcgram/2009-April/000191.html) I can't seem to find any further information regarding this note. Can anyone shed some light?

From the words "military exercise" in that obscure reference, I might suggest that it is something similar to the notes that were used in I think Winnipeg during their mock invasion exercise.

Either way, from the crudeness of the note and the naming of the alleged issuer, I all but guarantee that they are in no way authentically issued banknotes.

You might speak with Dick Dunn from the CPMS (contact info on their website) for more information.
