Hello Members:
I have a 1973 $1.00 prefix BFK that may have a miscut error? I know the $1.00's came in sheets so this error can be made by someone if wanted. In the Charlton book only BFL & ECW were the only prefixes (non replacement) used for sheets? Is this correct?
I have a BFK with a cutting error but i want to make sure it is an original error before i do anything with it.
Thank you in advance
Ian

Hi Daamg,
The Charlton lists specific sheet numbers as being the last sheets printed. Further down the page, it lists the prefixes used for uncut sheets.
BABN: BFD, BFK, BFL, BAX
CBN: ECP, ECR, ECV, ECW, EAX
I would be *highly* suspect of any purported miscut notes from prefixes that are known to have had uncut sheets issued.

yeah there's a guy on ebay that's been cutting up $2 and $1 sheets an blatantly selling them for in excess of $19.99
Probably bunch of those.

Thanks guys, with your info and just by the way the error portion has been cut leeds me to believe it is a non error note....from a sheet.
Thank Again
