Title: New Low for 1937 Z/D 0538181 Coyne Towers Note?
Post by: gonkman on February 26, 2010, 06:45:01 pm

Not Sure if this is on the WIKI Site as I don't think it is tracked on there.

So I don't know if this is the Lowest Z/D Serial Coyne-Towers Note..

But there is one for sale on you know where item 380210530304.

1937 $10 Z/D Coyne-Towers Serial 0538181

22nd Charlton Lists Lowest Known at Z/D 541505

So its quite a few 1000 lower..   If there is already a lower known.. Feel free to Delete this. :)

Just thought someone might be interested in knowing.

I've attached an image of the highest-known serial number for the Z/D Gordon-Towers $10 note (Z/D 0491840). Comparing this serial number with yours it would be logical to conclude that the changeover from the Gordon signature to the Coyne signature took place at Z/D 0500000, although that is of course a speculation.
