Hi, have several 1975 $100.00 replacement notes, and was wondering why some are AJX and one is
different with asterik . Im not a collector so im not sure of the condition and was wondering if
they are worth more than the face value. I've listed only a few below. Thanks

AJX0556452 CROW BOUEY
*JA6490051 LAWSON BOUEY

Welcome to the forums. They originally used * to denote replacements, then switched to X for the third letter of the prefix. Nowadays you actually need to know specific ranges
Value-wise it would really depend on condition. I suggest you go to your local bookstore or chapters and pick up a copy of The Charlton Standard Catalogue for Canadian Government Paper Money 22nd Edition
If in decent shape (VF- very fine)
AJX Lawson Bouey $450
AJX Crow Bouey $130
*JA Lawson Bouey $250
EHX Crow Bouey $90
hope that helps

Thank's wizard1, i appreciate your help, will follow up on your advice.
I almost deposited them at the bank. I have a lot of regular $50 and $100. from
1975 and up that some of them may be a little over face value too.
Thanx
