Hi! I suspect this isn't worth much due to its condition, but here are the vitals as per the "before you post" post:
Date: 1937 (2 Jan)
Amount: One dollar
Type: BC-21c (Gordon-Tower* wide panel)
Condition: between VG and G**
Serial number: Z/A 5481209

* - Using the terminology from http://www.cdnpapermoney.com/English/BoC/1937_1.htm (though the last name is clearly "Towers" and not "Tower")
** - The note was folded into eighths and stored that way for a long time, so there is little fading (except in the creases on the back) but some tearing in the creases and around the edges.

Sorry to say but this would be valued just over face value or maybe a few pennies over a dollar.
