First time posting.
I may have access to a 1903 Union Bank $5.00 note , likely very good but soiled.
Unable to find much information on scarcity or current approximate value. My 1980
Charlton suggests a value of $300.00.
Any information will be most appreciated.

My 2002 edition gives it $325 in Good.

Good find! Current catalogue valuation is $625 for Good, $1,250 for VG. This is a tough note and in demand. I don't think you would have a lot of trouble selling it for at least book value AS LONG AS YOU DON'T TRY TO "IMPROVE" IT in any way.
I'd be interested in the sheet number/check letter/sheet number colour (red or blue) for the register. Red sheet numbers aren't known (yet) on notes below Fine condition. The values I quoted are for blue. If yours has red numbers, add approximately 25% to the value.
Any chance of posting an image?

Hi again,
Have acquired the Union Bank note. and will post a scan when I can figure out
how to do it.
The sheet # is 189520 - blue and check letter is B ?
The note is not for sale, as it will be part of a display in our local Royal Bank's history.

Here is scan of the note. Hope the size isn't too large, I wanted to show some quality.

Sorry but I cannot see the scan. Am I the only one?? ???
