Title: 1954 Canadian $2 Replacement Note

Hi Everyone,

First post here I did post this on another forum but since I am Canadian I wanted to move to a Canadian Forum :)  I have a UNC 1954 $2 Replacement Note, just wondering what people think it is worth.
I have attached a scan of the note.

This is a very nice note, in UNC its worth about $75

One sold today in C.Unc which is better than Unc for $62 U.S. Book value is too high.

That was me :) just wanting to see if I got a fair deal and I think I have.  I dont mind slightly over paying as this is for a collection not to make money.  I just dont want to pay 10x what it is worth.

Yes thank you for pointing me in the right direction, I am excited about the new hobby :)

I have a feeling that this hobby will be cheaper then my last :p  (Flying in case you were wondering)

Just kidding! Once you get some posts under your belt, you'll be able to take advantage of the Trading Post where some members sell and swap replacements. Your collection will grow in no time! Good luck and Welcome!

Welcome to the hobby, you will have lots of fun.
Make sure you pick up a 2011 Charlton Catalogue of Canadian Government Paper Money - 23rd edition book. This will be your best friend as you are building your collection, as it contains very useful information when buying notes.
