Title: Replacement notes with consec. serial numbers
Post by: buce on April 25, 2011, 02:09:56 pm
I was recently given two Canadian 1967 one dollar bills with consecutive serial numbers *BM 1265667 and 668. These bills don't appear to have been circulated as they are crisp and clean with no creases, bends, rips or tears. Not being a collector, I don't have any idea what they are worth. More than $1???? Thanks

*B/M replacement notes for the 1967 series are the most common.  They are worth more than their $1 face value, in true Unc condition.  Book value is $26 each.  They are readily available, so I would suspect they sell for below book value.
