I inherited a 1954 $2 bill that I've been told is a test bill and is worth a lot of money. I know nothing about it. I have it listed on ebay and want to make sure I get close to what its worth. S N is G/R 0022060. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Alisha.

Posting a scan of the note, would help determine a grade.

This note is very scarce (248,000 printed) and is only listed in the Charlton price guide in VG (Very Good - $2,500) and AU (Almost Uncirculated - $8,000) condition. Its hard to tell from the scans, but your note is probably a VF.
I would guess that the value of your note is around $3,500.

Thank you so much for the information. That's great news, wow!

Thank you so much for the information.
No Problem, I am not sure if you can still change the title to your eBay auction, but if you can I would suggest adding "G/R Test Note" to the title. It should attract more bidders, and get you a higher price for the note.

Yes, you can still change the title of your listing. I have done it a couple of times. It will take a few minutes to show up on searches.

This brings the total of confirmed G/R test notes to 11 now !

The note has been added to the Wiki Site.
