Title: 1973 $1.00 bill
Post by: racoon on January 15, 2012, 03:55:08 pm
newbie !  Since going on your forum, I've learned a lot , which I appreciate.  But still have a lot to learn!!!
Found this $1.00 bill in my  collection which has letters higher than numbers at left.  See scan
Is this common, or is it an error?  Does it bring a premium and is it worth keeping?
Thanks for your help

What do you mean by nope?   Nope it's not common?  Nope it's not considered an error or nope it's
not worth keeping?

"Nope" in that there is no scan of the note attached.

Sorry, my mistake.  My first post and seems I forgot to copy and paste the scan..
Next time I'll be more careful
Hope this time it's all right

Being off a mm or less is pretty common - IMO it would have be misaligned quite a bit more than that before it would be deemed an error note...
