Title: Cataloging Software

Hello,
I'm new to the forum, and I was hoping to get some insight on how others manage their collection.
I'm wondering if anyone uses some type of software to catalog their collection?
Ideally an app for iPhone or iPad.

Currently I have a spread sheet and photos of each note.  I am in the middle of making a database that will keep all the info.

Thanks for the feedback! I have ended up making a spreadsheet as well. I tried looking for an iPhone app that would work well, but I couldn't find anything suitable.

Tim are you writing a web-based app to put everything into a database? One of the main things I was hoping to do was include photos as well, but that didn't work well with any spreadsheet application.

I'll make sure to share any improvements to my process.

Ive got a simple one started using FileMaker pro,  I dont know if I will stick to it or learn MySQL/php.  Either way I can put it on the web.
