So I recently picked up a 1954 $1000 note
Serial a/k 0072519
Beattie-Rasminsky

Worth keeping or bringing it to the bank?

Personally I wouldn't keep it unless its UNC or there something spectacular about the note. $1k is a lot to have tied down. I would personally spend a portion of it towards a note I really really want.
