Title: 1937 $10 Bill & 1954 Bills...worth more than face value??
Post by: hannah on August 14, 2012, 03:57:05 pm
I was just given an envelope of old bills... some are just 1, 2, & 5 from 1973/74, 86 which are probably not worth a whole lot more than face value...BUT there are some bills that i am sure are worth a bit more than face value.  these are the details... any help is appreciated on their approx. value!

1937 BILL:
$10 - King George - BT7142357 - JEIsyne?/Towers - Fair condition

1954 BILLS:
$10 -   TV1294917 - Beatiie/Rasminsky - Fair cond.
$5 - VS0428554 - Beattie/Rasminsky - Mint
     -  VS0428556 - Beattie/Rasminsky - Mint
$2 - RG5296671 lawson/bauey, OG6083674 lawson/bauey, RG5557199 lawson/bauey, DG5190421 bauey/rasminsky, IG4389444 bauey/rasminsky, IG4331549 bauey/rasminsky, DG 5191010 bauey/raskminsky, IG4326043 bauey/rasminsky, PG3920415 lawson/bauey, YU1170897 beattie/rasminsky  (all mint)

I think that the $10 from 1937 is worth around $18, all the 1954 $2's are worth $98 and the two $5 dollar bills are worth $35 each, if they are in sequence they would be worth a little bit more.

Not really. There is no added premium for notes in sequence unless a buyer is willing to pay more.
