Hello Forum Members,
I am currently doing some experiments on removing unwanted smells from banknotes (such as mildew, smoke, bleach etc.)
If you have any bills that have an odor to them and would like me to try to remove them, just send me a pm or email.
This process does not involve any chemical application or treatment.
There is no charge to you, except for the postage costs incurred.

I sent a few notes and the results were amazing. I would highly recommend the process. Thanks.

Did the process take long? Would you recommend sending high end notes?
I have a Charter that smells like mildew since it was found in an old suitcase we dug out of the cellar last year
when we were renovating.

It only took a couple of days, I had the notes back within a week. The notes I sent were higher end notes, a series of 1954 DF notes that would grade from EF to AU-Unc and a 1937 $50.00 that would grade AU. I didn't think it was worth sending low value notes but may reconsider and send them as well.
