Title: 1986 $2 Canadian
Post by: ToneE on October 10, 2012, 03:46:36 pm
I have a circulated 1986 $2.00 bill with a Robin on the back and the serial number starts with AUM
The bill is not ripped, and there is no pen ink or teller stamp on it.    Can any one give me their best guess at an approx value

This is one of the "Annomaly" run notes (AUG-AUN). Can you please check if your note is signed Crow-Bouey or if its signed Thiessen-Crow. There is not much difference in value though the crow-Bouey is slightly scarcer. Either way your note will be worth $5 in VF to $30 in AU. Not a scarce note but one that collectors like to have in their collection.
