Title: McKlem Carney $20 Changeover Point
Post by: RADARjourney on October 16, 2012, 04:25:15 pm
I was just looking at the wiki site and was suprised to see the $20 changeover prefix is BIE. I have 30 BIC prefix with McKlem's signature. Can anyone confirm the actual point of the changeover. The wiki site shows a number of notes entered in the BIC frame under the Jenkins signature. What's Up?

First Macklem-Carney BABN notes started in prefix AUT, so AUT-AUZ and BIA-BIE* are all Macklem-Carney signature notes. As for BIE it is the unconfirmed changeover point to the 2012 series $20. Is it possible that we will see BIE Journey 20's?... yes its possible.

Thanks guys. I misread the charts. I have since found BID's and will spend the BIC's. If i find any BIE's I will grab a few and spread them around.

I have seen BIB and BIA locally. But nothing crisp, these were circulated. Will be on the lookout for BIE's.

Unconfirmed changeovers are conservative guesses based on data already in the SNDB where available.

Confirmed changeovers are based on data obtained directly from the Bank of Canada.
