Hello,
I have a number of old bank notes that I have collected and have researched the values online... not an avid collector, just old bills I would find and tuck away... came across some eBay finds where multiple 8's in a serial number was of 'value', but no where to find how much 'value', so would be interested in your input as to an asking value should I decide to sell. It is in great condition - no folds, marks.. File attached (scanned).
Thanks!

There is nothing really special with this $2 note other than the fact that its in great condition...perhaps UNC. Its only worth around $10. As for notes with multiple 8's, unless its a solid 1 digit radar note (all 8's) then it would worth quite a bit infact 25% more than any other solids. Similarly notes with lots of 8's would only have premiums if they are of radars ex. 8881888 (2 digit radar).

The "4" in the serial number is problematic for collectors of notes with multiple "8's".

It appears to have nice eye appeal and you could sell it as a "fancy serial number" note. Whether that will improve your selling price is entirely up to those who see it and whether they wish to purchase it. Good luck!
