Hi,
I have a 2$ sheet (1986 issue). Will it loose is value if I put it inside a frame ?
Currently it is in the original tube.
Thanks you.

It will only lose value if you damage the sheet. I’m not too sure how you could properly frame a sheet. I know recently I’ve looked into framing old historical papers and there are ways to do it such as having a special UV glass to help with having the sun not eat away at the colors. It was also suggested not to fram an original but a high resolution copy of the original. I suppose you could also put the entire sheet in a “holder” as well but I’m not sure if they have such large holders although they do have them large enough for entire newspapers. So if you can protect the sheet in a holder, get a special UV glass you might be OK but would I suggest avoiding hanging it in direct sun light and no basements and attics due to moisture. The other down side is that the frame will most likely be worth more then your sheet but that’s not always a concern.

Unless these are replacement sheets (BRX or EBX) or EGU sheet your sheet rolled up is worth $105 as they are in AU condition. I don't think that the value would really decrease by putting it into a frame.

My sheet is EBB. Yes, the sheet is rolled up. I think I'll keep it where it is. I am thinking now, if the sheet doesn't move and stay in the dark (the tube), the sheet will probably be in better shape then in a frame by logic.
By the way, do you think they will issue sheet for Journey 5$ / 10$ like they did in the bird series ?
