Title: 1954 $1 Bill
Post by: Aries2013 on March 11, 2013, 04:48:54 am
Hello. I have a 1954 $1 bill signed by Beattie and Coyne, issued by the British American Bank Note Company Limited with serial E/M 2218064.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it might be worth. Thank you for your help.

Hello
If in perfect uncirculated condition it is worth a maximum of $11, less if it has been in circulation and creased, etc.  Hope this helps.

Unless it is in really good shape it`s only worth $1. The book may say more but I don`t think it`s scarce enough to appeal to collectors.

Thank you for your help. I've looked at it closely and it's hard to tell, but would this be one of the Devil's Face notes?

Based on the serial number you provided, your note has the Modified portrait, not the Devil's Face.
