Title: Uncirculated 1973 $1 Banknotes - 50 in a straight sequence
Post by: amyamyamy on September 07, 2013, 01:47:48 pm
Hi there,

My dad recently opened a safety deposit box containing a coin collection and some bills left to me by my uncle.

It contained a series of $1 Canadian bills. They have never been circulated and are piled in order of their serial numbers

ECN2610500 to ECN2610549

Any sense of what these might be worth?

Maybe about $2/note or $100 for the 50.

More like $3-$4 per note, even if you were to sell them all together.  Common notes in sequence seem to be very popular.  I wonder why.

There is a small but interested group of buyers for these.  I've sold these before and $3-$4 is about right.  List them on Kijiji and/or CPMF and a buyer will come forward.
