My mom found this in her till in 1964, she recently passed it on to me. Any idea if the mis-print was a common occurrence back then?

It looks like your note is a partial offset print. This is caused by wet ink on the note below the one you have transferring onto the sheet while it is still wet. This is why the lettering is backwards.
It is indeed an error. I imagine the note might go for $100-150 to the right buyer.

Thank-you Dean....that makes sense...I will pass it down to my kids....hopefully in time it becomes valuable. Thanks for your help.

Could this also be considered as a birthday [birthyear] note? Feb 15 1962

A true birth year note would be 0001962

I agree with Dean, this is the place to be in the notes. In the process of cutting guillotine poorly dried sheets printed on the other side of the banknote. Usually this happens, but in this image I see the opposite direction without overprints on the image and neatly printed strip of front side. To me it seems suspicious, how could this happen? maybe it's photoshop. Of all the pictures of obverse and reverse viewed easily, and the picture with printing "very vague" is blurred. I don't believe it...If I can see the image quality is very good and I can verify that this is the original, I will apologize....But I don't believe now....

In this age of digital manipulation, I can understand Norum's doubts. I just thought I would get an opinion on my note. If Norum could offer a method of how to show him/her the bill, I would be glad to do it. I can video it if you wish if you thought that would help. I'm not here to con anyone.

Hi, I Want to know what size your banknotes?
Norum is a male name. ;)

I still don't know the size of the banknote, and I really wonder... How and what the result of it all ended?

Sorry Norum, I was away from my computer for a bit. You want dimensions? ...as in length x height? If that's what you are looking for I got 154mm x 70 mm.
