Title: New type of coin wrapper
Post by: Dean on January 02, 2025, 06:23:50 pm
Hi,

I received some rolls of quarters from TD bank today that were in paper rolls that I have never seen before.
The bottom of the tube is cardboard and there’s a hole in the centre presumably for verification.

Has anybody else seen these coin rolls?  I posted this question elsewhere online and somebody said that they are used in coin rolling machines.

The ones I received were not rolled by a machine.

Thoughts?

Dean

I have never seen this type of coin wrapper before. I haven't coin roll hunted in almost 2-3 years so I am used to seeing the other designs.

What I find weird is the cardboard hole in the middle, you may be right about the verification but why don't they reveal the top of it instead of covering it and seeing a tiny portion of the quarter, I'm a new collector so I don't really have much knowledge in coin roll wraps it is a thought I had.
