Dear  Friends:
               This  is  a  follow-up to  my  inquiry  of  about  year  ago.  At that  time  I  asked  whether
any  one  out  there  had  ever  actually  eyeballed  a  1935  Banque  du  Canada  $500  note.  I did
get  one  reply  which implied  (but  did  not  really  specify)  that  the  replier  was dickering  to  buy such  a  note.   Does  anyone  know  if  any  such  note  has  in  fact  turned  up??

I don't think there has ever been any confirmed french $500 issues in any private collection as of yet.
