Title: New $50s.. (and BOC issued recall of Bird $50s)

Hey all, the BOC issued a memo out about getting rid of the old $50s. If anyone is at a bank now, chances of getting new $50s is probably pretty good.

Second, in various sections of $50s that come out of the machine that I come to sometimes, there has been AHA notes here in there, sparsely coming out amongst other prefixes. Like I mean, I have seen 3 in 2 weeks about.  BUT, they are layered into these notes SO Perfectly, it makes me suspect that they may be inserts. However, without full brick, I cannot confirm.  There are few people who can get this denom.  
If you can help out in this, please do.  
There are lots of new $50s coming to a bank near you.

What are the ranges of your AHA notes Hudson?

Hey there,

I got a bundle of $50's today. :D

But they were all AHD and a PERFECT bundle to boot! (xxxx100 - 199) But I did get a repeater! (1.34 Range)

I recieved a couple of bundles of $50s as well which appeared to be perfect. Until I looked at them closely and realized that the cutting cup was at the bottom of the security strip opposed to the top where it normally is. Check those notes X Savior ;)

Hi my AHA were 9.42 and some 8.9 (I had to give them away).  Remember, though, I have NO way of confirming any special designation of these bills. Just very "coincidental".  
Anyway, I had a peek at some others, and the cutting cup was on the bottom of some, but not all :)  

And... I am wondering if there are some numbers that they start printing from 9999999 down, and other denoms they start at 0000001 and go up... anyone has thought on this?  (This is just a question, with nothing really actually make me think of asking it.)

Hey There,

I had to let go of the notes too but there were NO cup marks on any of the notes.  :o

Notes were quite rippled though.  :(
