Well I've finally dove in the brick searching part of our hobby and I'm the proud papa of a radar and a swims note in one shot :o

Yeah, that's another one of those "presbyopic" rotators that eyevet likes talking about... ::)

A rotator only consists of 0, 6, 8, 9.
"1" is not a digit in rotator. :-?

But boy are those presbyopics nice. To bad it wasn't a serif I . It would be so perfect.

Read the article I wrote for the CPMS (also available on my website) and consult p364 of your Charlton book (19th edition only).
The digit one (1) is NOT included in the definition of a rotator note.

Hey Gus5pin. Nothing is wrong with a 2 digit radar. Hard to find and great numbers also

Like Polarbear stated....too bad the 1's didn't have serifs.
I really like the BTA set, personally I would still keep the second note even though it is not a 'true' rotator. But in all essence what does it matter how the notes are classified, as long as you enjoy them that is all that matters.
