Title: 1975 $50 3 in Sequence UNC
Post by: multicolorama on January 31, 2007, 06:54:27 pm
Hi everyone. I have 3 consecutive 1975 $50's in UNC. The serial numbers are EHN 7726090-92 and used to have EHN 7726098-99 but sold them at a Stratford Paper Money and Coin Show in October for $100 a piece but the Charlton says that 1975 $50 Unc are $190. Why did i get less than book value? Any ideas why. Thanks. :)

These sell for below catalog. In fact the price went down in the latest catalog as I recall given that they are plentiful in dealers' stock.

-- a very good price for such common seldom sought high denominations
