It has now been eight years since British American Bank Note was acquired by a German company, and its name changed to BA International Inc. They have removed the words "Bank Note" from their name.
Is it just me, or is it time that the collecting community caught up with the times, drop the references to BABN and start using BAI instead? Eight years seems like an overly long adjustment period. But I guess old habits die hard.

Agreed.... :)
We are all living in the 90's Jezzz..... Who wants to reminded of that! ;D

Hey the 90's were my favorite years. I like Jazz too. I'd suggest they commemorate this by printing the next group of $10 using the BAI prefix since they skipped it and went right to BEI for some reason.
PD ;)

According to what we were told in the late 80's we should be either living on Mars by now or the Earth Self Destructed :o.
Our next series should include something about Space Exploration. ;)

I'm going by the Mayan calender. The aliens wheather from Mars or not claim the Mayans were right on about a Pan cataclysmic disaster in 2012, therefore the BAI or BABN better get hopping on the BAI prefixes before it's too late.

Good idea...at least one note of the next series should have James Bond on it...maybe Roger Moore from Moonraker? ;D
