Title: Cut funny
Post by: Anne on March 16, 2007, 11:34:08 am
I'm inquiring about 1937 Coyne-Tower Dollar bills. (BC-21d)
Bear with me - As a newbie they seem to be VF condition
I have one in front of me - serial number J/N 9086869
But they are cut funny -not really centred
Any ideas for further research?
Thanks

Can you post a picture of your note? The Book Value is $15.

Welcome to the Forum Anne  :): A lot of the 1937 series notes, in all denominations, were not cut "perfectly centered" due to the lack of technology 70 years ago. Some of these notes were cut so "out of register" as to the fact that some notes contained small portion's of another note. I hope this helps out with your research.
