Title: WIKI Site
Post by: only4teeth on May 10, 2007, 11:28:48 am
First off I would like to thank Brent for updating the WIKI site. Having said that I have a couple of questions:

1. I noticed that  HPA now only consists of the range 5.952-5.953. Is there another range to include the notes listed in the HPA registry?

2. How can there be 2 side by side ranges for FER?

Thanks in advance, Scott

Hi Scott,

HPA 9,560 - 9,580 still exist. Someone forgot to enter the 2nd HPA ranges.
FER 9,990 - 9,999 are considered single note replacements.

Scott,

It appears that the 2005 $5 Jenkins-Dodge, HPA (5.960M - 5.980M) insert range was inadvertently
deleted from the Wiki site.  This is still a valid and confirmed insert range.

The 2005 $5 Jenkins-Dodge, HPA (5.952M - 5.953M) range is a confirmed single note replacement (SNR)
range.  From my recent discussions with Gilles it appears that a total of 15 of these HPA SNR notes were
found in UNC.

Research determined that the last 9999 notes of the FER prefix were single note replacements and not sheet
replacements.  This explains why there are two adjoining ranges.

It may be helpful if a notation is included on the Wiki site to differentiate between single note and sheet
replacement ranges.

I agree, there should be a CLEAR distinction between Sheet and SNR Replacements...
