Title: 1954 $2 and 1954 $1
Post by: jrsaysbiteme on May 13, 2007, 03:24:53 pm
They both in kinda warn out condition but you can still read everything on them. The 1954 $2 serial is W/B 1012894. And the 1954 $1 is T/L 0337596.

Also got a $1 1973 Bank of Canada bill serial AMB2378871. Very interested about how much they're worth.
Thanks a bunch.

The first two notes are both signed Beattie/Coyne and are quite common with the $1 valued between $1-$3 and the $2 valued about $2- $7 and probably closer to the bottom end.

Your $1 with serial AMB2378871 is only worth $1. I think all tree are worth about $7-8 total.

Estimated value of each note is looked up in the Charlton guide to paper money.  You can find these at the library and take a look for yourself.  Very interesting book with a ton of info.
