Title: 5.00 with upside down reversed serial numbers

This was verified as legal tender by my local bank branch and that is all the information I have, comments would be appreciated.

The note you have is a Bank of Canada printing error.  It is listed in the Charlton Catalogue of Canadian
Government Paper Money, 20th Edition 2008 as E18 - Misplaced Serial Number.

E18-v is described as "Number Inverted on the back" and is valued in the catalogue at $400.

It may realize more or less at public auction based on its condition (grade) and demand for such a note from
collectors of paper money errors.
