Title: Sequential number notes
Post by: skip34 on September 08, 2007, 12:09:20 pm
My dad was an avid note collector and always looked for bills in sequential order. Some have been passed on to me so I have added a few photos to see if this adds to the value of these notes. Thanks in advance for any info.

The 1975 $50 notes catalogue at between $200 to $260 each in UNC (uncirculated condition).  The EFA
prefix is sought by some collectors since it was the last prefix used in this issue and was a short series
with only 6.8M printed.

The 1988 $100 notes book at between $150 to $175 in UNC grade but usually sell for less due to the
large numbers still available in the marketplace.

No real premium can be applied to these notes for sequences of consecutive notes.
