Title: 1988 $ 1000 notes 1 number apart.

I have these 2 notes that are 1 number apart. are they worth anything more than face value? Thank you for any information.

Not much more than face value.  Collectors with $1000 to spend tend to place these near the bottom of their priority list.  There are plenty of older notes with a market value of $1000 right now, notes that are likely to appreciate in value over the next few years.  The collector value of $1000s is not likely to move very much, if at all.
