Hi Guys!,
I've been trying to find out the value of a banknote that was left to me in a will - it's an 1878 $1 Dominion of Canada with serial no. 000857 signed by T. D. Harrington (For Receiver General) on the right and what looks like L. Fitzgerald on the left (For Minster of Finance), would any of you have any idea what this might be worth at auction
Many thanks,
stuarty
EDITED : Thanks for your reply Mark - I've found a scanner and got a picture of the note rather than try and describe it myself ;) (links go to high res versions)

Doesn't look like there's much interest in this note :) if it's of any use to anyone here drop me a pm and I'll post it for free (not much point in me having it as I don't have much interest in it myself)
thanks,
stuarty
