I just got a second chance offer to buy a 1937 $20 note on ebay for $10.00 US plus $7.00 S&H. That is still under face value.
Is the market that bad that people want to give money away???
Can't figure this one out ???

Buy It Now price: US $10.01

I knew the market is kind of slow, but not that bad. This either sounds too good to be true or it can be acursed note or something. Anything in the description pertaining to unusual accidents and maladies while in possession of this note? Man I've been around Raven too much.

Yes weird hey.
I can see if no one bid and you got a break like that but not to offer a second chance offer??? That is wild, makes one think? So you have a cheap bill coming I take it..lol :D Good 4 U

Make sure this is not a fraud email as I have been getting many of these lately
Tips
Deals too good to be true usualy are. most people with common sence will asume that an old bill is worth more not less.
Here are some tips
If the email is not in your "My eBay Messages " page then its fraud.
seoncdly make sure that the loggin page will display httpS. If the S is omited then its not the secure and legitimate eBay site
Maybe this is already know by most but better be safe then sorry

Thanks Jason, definitely a legit second chance, but like you said there always has to be a catch. Going to take a chance anyways . Atleast I got my money back from Paypal on the JAZZ555
HERE WE GO AGAIN ;D

This probably explains why. This seller has a horrible reputation as a seller. It might be too good to be true.
If you have horrible feedback, don't bother with starting auctions below face value. People will assume you are trying to scam them.

Hello - This is a response to Squids first comment about the times being bad. Last week i purchased a 1991 $20.00 Bird issue for $14.99 US (Buy it now) on EBay, it cost me around $16.00 Canadian w/shipping. I thought at the time this was a scam as well but it came in the mail today ;D. Also this week i purchased a 1954 $2 Devils Face in Au for a whopping $18.70 (incl shipping). The book value is $175.00 ;). I had a high max bid but no one else seemed to want this evil note. Maybe it is just luck or maybe it has slowed down?

Did the seller(s) have decent feedback?

Yes both the sellers have a feedback score of 99%+ and have feedbacks in the 1,000's. The only thing that i can think of is that they really had no clue to as what they were selling?? Both sellers aren't from Canada...maybe that is why???? ???
