I just received a brick of mixed $10 notes... all BTH prefix. (No replacements)
Three consecutive notes all have a rather unusual darker outlined face (The hidden security feature) that is not seen on the other notes.
Has anyone come across this before on any other notes?

Are you interested in selling any of these notes? Can you please send me a scan?
Thank you.

Sorry I don't have a scanner, but if you send me your email address I can send you some other pics if you like?

I have had a similar flawed watermark on a $5 but didn't think it worth keeping. A good watermark is only seen when looking through the paper in light whereas a poor watermark would always be visible like the one shown. I don't know if its worth anything -- but at the time I tended to think of it as similar to a poorly centered note (poorly produced) and spent it. i could be wrong though.

I received the notes Friday via Xpresspost and took them to a local dealer Sat. to see what he thought. I sold one to him, so the other two are now paid for out of that. Thanks
Do you have anymore available. I would be willing to take anymore that you have. EMT was sent today.

Thanks EMT received. I'm glad that they met your approval. Unfortunately I have no more available.

Hey squid mon can you send me a picture. My three BTGs replacements tend to have a similar problem. The watermark seems heavier and registered lower on the note than usual. Low enough to effect the continuity of the lower edge of the note such that it appears like a 'counting crease'.
