Title: $10 Ottawa 1989 and $2 Ottawa 1986
Post by: mk on February 13, 2008, 08:26:56 pm
A friend recently gave me some money she got when she was younger and happened to visit Canada. I know they probably aren't worth much but before I cash them in at the bank I'd like to make sure.

The first is a $10 with an Osprey on the back serial is: AER9504551 The bill has no rips but does seem to have some light staining on the back

The other is a $2 with Robins on the back serial is: BBM8624099 This bill has no rips and besides a slight crease from being folded iis in perfect condition.

If anymore info is needed please let me know. I don't personally collect money but this is the only place I've found that i feel i may get an answer from.

Does no one know how much these may be worth or has it just not been gotten around to? I'm sorry if I sound pushy this board just had seemed very active for this not to have received a reply yet.

Face value.

Both are common notes. The $10 is not in good enough condition to be worth much, and the $2 is one of billions that are still in ready supply.
