I know that there are already several threads about this, but they have been sitting unreplied for a long time, so...
Lets start with my 1973 $1, serial number FA8148144, then I have a 2006 $5 serial number AOP1181218, 2 1986 $5s serial numbers GPU8966688 and 99, 2001 $10 FDT0030383, 1991 $20 AWW6900697, 1969 $20 WG7665661, 1954 $20 G/E 0087708, and a 1954 $50 A/H 8022022. All those notes are "aging" in my collection right now.

I made a few assumptions. Hope this gives you an approximate idea of the value of your notes. Actual market value may likely be less than the Charlton Catalog book value.
You may have got a quicker response if you posted in the "What's it worth" category.

I do have an aquarium, but it's been looking a little dilapidated lately. I'm not really asking the value (because I have a Charlton) but thank you for your opinion. I meant this post as a showcase for those "so close but no dice" notes. Which I seem to have a disproportionate amount of. The "best" special number notes I have are just a few lowly birthday notes.

I got BTL5999999 in a brick... :-[ So close from the million note...But I got the radar BTL5999995 :)
-
You are actually 4000000 notes of from being a sold digit radar.
Not so close.
-
Yes, but it is close because all the other numbers are the same.

actually only 444,444 away from solid 5'5 ;D
-
I would prefer to get the 5555555 instead the 9999999, because it would be in a better shape than the 9999999 (the end of a bundle).

Just another nearly miss: BTM3332333 from a brick.. just 1000 from the solid number... Maybe next time... :-\

Just look at this note APP 1234507. My heart almost jumped out of me when I picked it up. It is only sixty notes from the Ladder note. ???
