Did anybody know if the 6th edition of Canadian bank note will still be release this year? and when?

I understand that this is being actively pursued by the editor, but I don't personally have an estimated release date.

Wouldn't it be nice if the catalouge came out in December instead of half way throught the selling season?
Maybe its just me, BUT i seems all the dealers hold back on the notes, and no one wants to sell until they get the new catalouge.
Ever go to summer torex and see a famine of notes...lol

oops i was confusing the "Bank Note Catalouge" with the paper money cat :'(.
Thats what i get for replying on a saturday morning half asleep.

I totally agree that paper money catalogue should not be release just before summer, I read during the winter.

Be careful, if the publisher of the Government Paper Money catalogue sees this thread they may decide to delay publication of the 21st edition by six months until December of this year !

Ottawa, um why should the delay of catalouge bother me? Besides the pricing going up, how would this hurt me?
