Welcome, you have a really nice collection!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay here and I really like your error notes!
-
the 20 dollar error is very nice, It is a cut and fold error with a 1 square inch piece where the corner is bent and when you flip it out, it has a blank spot on the note!
I got it from someone who got it from a bank machine!
I paid 25 dollars for it.

wait... that was an error? I thought it just had a chunk ripped off!

Hi & Welcome,
Looks as you've been collecting for some time so you've come to the right place if you have questions regarding collecting or even just joining in on the comments. There's plenty of information on this site, just use the search tab, and if you don't find what you're looking for just ask. There are members here with a wealth of knowledge on Canadian Banknotes including banknote errors.
Happy collecting.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I bought most of the notes in my youth,
and Mostly from Larry Banks, I would think some of the dealers might know him.
I think he is deceased now, But he told me when I started to collect, if you buy the best, when you sell you will be selling the best, I tried to only buy crisp unc bills.
I even have a few specimen notes from the bank of canada sale.

Larry Banks sold his notes in Prince George, BC
He was at the back of the flea market, I used to buy the canadian coin news and always look at the notes for sale,
I could not believe he had the notes he had cause they were always something fantastic, I could only afford the lower denomination notes from him, He tried to talk me into the 1935 issues, which I thought were expensive at the time, boy was I mistaken, they sure went up in value.
I would assume most dealer knew him cause he had to get his notes from somewhere.
