Title: Set 1975 $50
Post by: isobeldelussey on July 22, 2008, 05:08:02 pm
I have a set of 6 Canadian $50 bills (RCMP Dome formation) in order EHE 3852017 -3852022 unused and pristine. Are they likely to be worth anything?

Hi, They are certainly worth more than face value, the fact that they are consecutive #'s helps as well.
I don't have my price guide with me but in Unc. condition they would certainly be worth at least 2x face value.

Hopefully some other members will be able to price them better.

For an Unc 60 Crow-Bouey it would be $125 each book value; For a Lawson-Bouey it would be $190 each.

For my 100th post, I say this:

In the Charlton Standard, 21st edition, these notes are worth from $190 to $250 EACH, thus, you have a lot of value sitting in these notes. It would also be a great start to a collection. Welcome to the Canadian Paper Money Forum and enjoy your stay here.
